Peacefully surrounded by family, on Monday, Feb 21, 2022, Rudolph P. “Rudy” Turkovich, age 94 of Ross Twp. Son of the late Antonia and Joseph Turkovich; beloved husband of 64 years to Catherine (Clark) Turkovich; loving father of Joe Turkovich, Judy Turkovich, Carolyn (Bob) Smith, Nancy (Mike) Feth, and the late Lynne and William Turkovich; grandfather of Autumn (Kyle Schwemm), Colton, and Christian Smith, Eric and Samantha Feth; brother of Raymond and Elmer Turkovich and the late Steve, John, Mary, Caroline, Joseph, Gertrude, Olga, Stephanie, Anne, Albert, and George. Rudy was a veteran of WW II, a private in the US Army he served as a Military Policeman. In his younger days he was very athletic, and was an avid softball player, a boxer, and a bowler. He retired from the US Postal Service after 32 years of service. Friends received Wednesday from 6-8pm and Thursday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc, 460 Lincoln Ave, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Friday, February 26th at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Interment will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh, 212 9th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
