Martin A. "Marty" Tolbert Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Surrounded by family, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, Martin A. “Marty” Tolbert, age 63, of Bellevue passed away. Marty, son of the late Alice Virginia (Hutson) and James W. Tolbert, Sr. and survived by daughter, Margaret Mary Asche and grandchildren, Miranda Elizabeth, and Maxwell Lucas Asche. Together, they lost the best father and pap anyone could ever ask for. Brother of James W. Tolbert, Jr. (Patti), David A. Tolbert (Joan), Joan Tolbert Madden, Maryanne T. York (Ken), Thomas M. Tolbert (Debbie), Alice J. Cahill (Don), John E. Tolbert (Bernadette), Daniel A. Tolbert (Lisa), Richard J. Tolbert (Amie), and the late Loretta T. Marszalek and Michael J. Tolbert; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Marty loved his daughter and grandchildren so much. He was their biggest supporter, taught them all about life and he was so proud of them. Marty was a member of the Cement Masons Local Union # 526 (and did amazing concrete work) was a big Pittsburgh Pirate’s fan, enjoyed growing a garden, loved to sit on his porch, he loved to watch the Young & the Restless and westerns and he always made everyone around him laugh, especially in serious situations. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 till 7:00 pm at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 154 Orchard Avenue, Emsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
