Acely L Miles Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

As the sun rose, she was taken as the day came to bring new life; as she had so many times before. Heaven Couldn't Wait. Acely Miles transitioned to her new life on Thursday, January 27th of 2022 at the young age of 43 years old. Mothered by Cathy Reagan and only daughter of Tracey Guyy; Acely had 7 beautiful children of her own; a stepson Tyler Mayhughe, Jasmine Miles her oldest and only daughter (little mommy), and 6 precious baby boys, Brandon, Var, Byron, Paris, Mace and Eli. Her own siblings include younger sisters, Jennifer & Brandie Reagan, siblings, Devonne and Tracey Guyy Jr., Shawn, and Misty; special lifelong friend LeVar Green. The many lifelong friends and family are included not in name but in loving spirit of Acely whom rests in our hearts today. She is celebrated by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is proceeded in death by her son LeVar Green, a cousin, Barry DeVonne Guyy, Jr., grandmothers Virginia (MeMe) Erdner and Florence (Flo) Reagan. A snow baby - Acely was born on the second to last day of the last month; December 30th of 1978 in Pittsburgh. She was a very inspirational person who loved and worshipped God to find strength fellowship and wisdom to get her through and most recently involved herself with Macedonia and the Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh. Graduating in Excellence at North Hills High School, Acely continued on to pursue her education in Beauty & Cosmetology and a Business degree at Everest and another Institute. She was a good girl, and with a heart as big as the world she was guided into work as a Caretaker in Home Health. Acely loved to make people laugh and bring everyone together with her cooking. Acely was no ordinary spirit; she was deep, passionate, protective, funny. She was extremely creative, innovative, and resilient, often writing poetry, self- help notes and even creating jewelry and candles. Acely noted that she won a "Hugs not Drugs" column in 3rd grade that she was proudest of; it made the Post Gazette! A life of battles, she showed she was a warrior, withstanding many obstacles. Yet she kept fighting. Words cannot describe the wonderous beauty of her strength that everyone could see shining brightly regardless. This Mama was a True Soul Survivor, a "take a long walk and clear your head" kinda girl. She had a website and a lot of big dreams, truly a "Go-Getter". Family and friends received Sunday, February 6th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, February 7th, at Allison Park Church North Side Campus, 3035 Perrysville Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15214. Everyone will meet at the church. Burial will follow in Highwood Cemetery.
